Printing on Both Sides???

I'm in the process of printing of reams of my typed up notes for the dreaded exams but I cannot figure out how to program the college printers to print on both sides. Not alone is this better for the environment by saving paper but it also makes it a hell of a lot easier to staple everything together.

The guidelines on the ISS services website are of little use seeing as they are made for Windows XP and my laptop plus the college network uses Vista.

So does anyone know how to change the setting so as to print on both sides, or does anyone know of any printers in College (preferably in the Arts Block) who print on both sides by default?

    Cheers

It should be an option when you click print, click preferences or options and find something like 'flip on long edge' or 'duplex printing'

I don't know why they don't have the computers set to do that automatically, so much paper is wasted otherwise.

The printers in Áras an Phiarsaigh print on both sides by default.
    You're welcome.

Using the printer in the 1937 reading room - using windows 7 here- when the print page opens (after you have chosen print) go into the properties for the printer - choose the finishing tab and the option is there to print on both sides - choose long edge.

Many of them do, but it actually gets very annoying when you're trying to print essay or project submissions, because the departments only accept single-sided printing.

Hard to please everyone I guess and I presume some individual students might not want it on both sides either for their own reasons.
