    Shouldn't your spare be kept properly inflated at all times?
    To me "space saving" generally just means it's a narrower rim so doesn't take up much height in the boot as a full size rim. I don't see why you'd be provided a pump in that case.

    No, it's definetly supposed to be stored flat and only inflated when taken out for use.
