I have been waiting to be reinstated into my permenant position with the HSE for over 2 years (since jan '09) following a 2 year career break. Has anyone successfully been reinstated in recent times? Am I to assume I have been sacked without notice or redundancy. Any advice as to what to do. The union just seems to be dragging their feet.

You seem to have plenty of experience Agent Smith, given the number of posts you have. Why don't you share some with me.

    Hi Granny Bear,

I am in same position. I came back from travelling in Sept 2010 and was given a letter saying I would have to wait for 12 months before being re-instated. I wrote again to see if they were going to re-instate me in Sept 2011 and they replied saying "they couldn't continue with re-instatement at this time due to moritorium.

Have you heard back from HSE or received any useful advice?

    Patsy
