    I'll start -

    Cardiff: Population 321,000.
Why it's better: Annual Cheese Festival, Proper Stadium.
Why it's more important: Has the Welsh Parliament.

    Bari: Population 319,896.
Why it's better: Warmer, superior cuisine, more culturally rich.
Why it's more important: Important port and fishing centre.

    Enniscorthy.

Pro's: It has a river and something happened in 1798
    Cons: It's full of skangers

The imagination: where most of the sense of superiority that Cork people are supposed to have exists.

The OP said "bigger" - some people seem to have difficulty understanding that term. It is a term that relates to physical size.

    London;
    Population: 10 million
    Pros: Great transport system.

    Manchester:
    Population: 2,240,230
Pros: Multiple impressive sports teams that regularly pull in huge numbers of fans

    Paris:
    Population: Lots of Frenchies
Pros: Stunning landmarks and culture that millions travel to see and experience

    Barcelona:
    Population: 3,186,461
Pros: Amazing night-life that parties on until the early hours of the morning.

All those places are, in my opinion, bigger, better and more important than Cork. And sure there's loads of place like that. I still wouldn't leave Cork for them until I win the Euromillions.

    Cardiff's a sh1thouse, and a no-go area for sheep.

    Cork is Shangri-La by comparison.

    Florence. Population: 368,362
Why it's better: Goes better with 'Nightingale'
Why it's more important: Has more letters in its name
