    Hi lads,

I hope this is the correct forum.

I finished by HTPC build yesterday and today Ive been setting up the different connections needed for home cinema and music.

I have the PC connected via HDMI to TV and then digital optical output to A/V receiver to give me movies with 5.1 sound.

I also have a Cambridge Audio DAC Magic connected via USB to the PC and then stereo phono cables to the A/V receiver. I used this for iTunes to all my music.

So my question is, is there a way of setting up the sound so that when Media Centre is playing sound is via the digital output and iTunes is via the DacMagic?

As far as I can see it means physically changing the output device every time I change from one to the other.

    Cheers in advance.
