just quick question lads.played my first year as member of golf club last year.have recently joined new club and played first weekend comp on sunday, one of the men i played with reckoned four cards had to be in from club you at now from year before to be eligible for team golf.is this the case or can the four cards count from the other club.

4 qualifying cards from any club in the previous year is enough

Yeah, 4 qualifying rounds (from anywhere) in the previous season.
The only (minor) issue is that since you transferred to a new club, your record from last season won't show at your new club so you'll need to provide that evidence yourself... a detailed cert from your old club for example.
Also, make sure your new managers know that you are eligible because it may not be obvious since you just transferred and you might get overlooked.

Ya you may need to get a handicap sheet from your previous club, so that your
current club know your are eligible.
