I am a customer with axa and have just found out some crashed in to my car and never told me :/ its a small job about 800euro but when claiming from axa will the cheque go to the repairer or to me? Just looking for some heads up.

    Regards,
    Lorraine

The norm is that the cheque goes to the CLAIMANT unless a comprehencive AD claim, when it can usually go to the repairer. If you are CLAIMANT (TP as opposed to AD) then if you ask them to pay garage/repairer, usually the insurer will.
