Listening to Jimmy Kelly on Newstalk saying Labour has to take a long view and look to form a left wing coalition when the incoming government collapses/goes to the country.

    The guy sounds utterly deluded.

It doesnt matter what they say, they have no affiliation with the Labour party.

Don't see FG/Labour lasting too long lucky if they get two years.
A swing to the left is very likely in such a case.

I suppose what this election represented was something akin to what happens when the Tories get in over the pond. Years of wild, socialist spending and borrowing needs to be cleaned up by a right wing party who will end up being loathed for the task.

I do hope you are right in that the reds make fools of themselves but I'm also worried. Though FG are the majority party, Labour are still large enough to have a considerable affect on policy. As I've said before, I think FF might actually be better partners for government.

But yeah, this election was a strange one, won't have another like it until our next recession (give it 20 -30 years).

despite longing for a leftist goverment , his ( kelly ) colleauge and fellow dogmatic faux socilist brendan ogle still wants his ESB workers to retain their average salary of 75 k per year though

pair of charlatans , the both of them
