The second round of WRC 2011 is starting Thursday. It's the first gravel rally of the season and I'm really looking forward to it. Mexico can be a punishing rally on the car. There were a lot of punctures in Sweden there could be even more in Mexico. It will also be very interesting to see how the new 1.6 units will perform at the high altitudes reached in Mexico.

I'm really hoping Solberg can do well and push hard for a good podium finish. I'd love a Solberg, Hirvonen, Latvala 1.2.3. as unlikely it sounds :)
Fingers crossed it will be as exciting as Sweden.

ESPN are giving all SKY and UPC customers free access to ESPN (inc HD) from 06:00hrs on Friday 4 March until 06:00hrs on Monday 7 March.

    SS6
Petter down to 11th with engine trouble, it looks like he may be out for the rest of the day. Maybe Superrally tomorrow. Ogier takes the lead from Loeb.
The fourth full-length stage of Rally Mexico proved a dramatic one for the lead WRC crews. Citroen ace Sebastien Ogier passed team-mate Sebastien Loeb to take the lead of the rally, while fellow DS3 WRC driver Petter Solberg suffered engine trouble to fall down the leader board - the Norwegian's day looks likely to be over, but we may see him competing tomorrow under Superally. Ogier now leads Loeb by 0.5s, with third-placed man Mikko Hirvonen a full 56.9s down the road. Matthew Wilson currently holds fourth, but he'll have to hold of the charges of Evgeny Novikov, Henning Solberg and Jari-Matti Latvala if he's to retain the position.

Should be a good fight between Loeb and Ogier, most other places look secure unless they are some technical issues. Petter solberg plans to go all out on the Power stage to get the bonus points. Hopefully he will keep it between the ditches :D

Ogier had an off on SS20 and broke his front left wheel, his rally is over. Hands the lead to Loeb.
