    Hey all,
Can anyone recommend a decent email app? The stock email on the wildfire isn't great and gmail isn't great either as I'm accessing my hotmail account.

I'm looking for something that when I delete the emails on my phone, they're deleted on the server as well. As it is now, I get emails on my phone, delete them and then when I log on to my PC I have to go and delete them as well.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks guys.

Try K9. I prefer that for my emails. It certainly synchs your deletions to the server (for Gmail anyway as that's what I use). Has loads of other options too not available in stock app.

Check the outgoing settings for your Hotmail client. There is an option there to delete emails from the server.

Installed k9 last night, doesn't seem to do it.

Heebusjeebus, is that on the Hotmail site, as there is no Hotmail client (that I know).

No, just the basic Email client for android.
Just checked it here on my fone, Go to Account Settings, then Incoming Settings.
There will be an option there "Delete email from server".
I've mine set to "When I delete from Inbox".

Go to Account Settings then choose Fetching Mail then there's two options

Sync server deletions - tick that.
When I delete a message - choose Delete from server.

No setting for that on my Wildfire Heebusjeebus.

That sorted it in K9, thanks a million Mick :)

    Thanks for the help Boardsies!
