It's a long shot, but if there is a FG/Labour coalition and the party leaders are serious about a new approach to politics, I'd like to see Arthur Spring get a cabinet seat or junior ministry.

I'm not from his constituency and have no affiliation with him or his family/friends, but he comes across as bright, intelligent and committed.

Too many experienced and better candidates ahead of him. Also Spring Senior blotted his copybook with his pension hunting as "public interest director" on eircom etc. The Spring name might carry weight in Kerry but not in Dublin anymore.

Feck no, he's another dynastic dimwit who gained political experience working for his uncle. He was promised Alan Kelly's MEP seat in case he failed in his Dail bid. The less seen of these anti-democratic parasites the better.
