    Heading on a 5 day ski trip to germany. I don't have VHI and was wondering if anybody knows who is good value for such a trip? I hear relying on the european card thing (can't remember what its called - the one for free hospital care....) mightn't be the best idea...

    Have always used http://www.getcover.ie/

    You can choose the actual days you're going and the level of cover you want.

    Get it immediately as it will cover cancellation from the time you purchase even though the policy doesn't really started till the date you have chosen to depart.

    Cheers, it does seem like good value for the single trip. Now to decide whether to get multi trip or just single!
