Lately smackdown has been hit or miss for me but this past week I was delighted to see the return of the "Dashing" one and once again take out Mysterio. But we all saw a side of Cody we never saw an aggressive and no holding back Cody, don't get me wrong I loved his "Dashing" gimmick and gained some grooming tips from his vignettes :),but like everything if it doesn't hit well with the fans its gotta change(shame they can't can the superhero gimmick for Cena maybe the return of the Doctor of Thuganomics is in the future).

But back to the topic the defining moment I thought was when he smashed reys head into the hologram effect mirror on the entrance which destroyed and took reys mask.

I wanna hear your thoughts as to is this good for Cody's career, the end of the "Dashing "era whatever you have on your mind id like to hear.

It isnt history and title of thread makes it sound like Cody has been released.

I'd like them to keep the "Dashing" gimmick as WWE is populated with far too many generic personalities. Some are great workers but there's just a swarm of guys in the midcard who are very similar.

Maybe they could alter his gimmick slightly as I think his attire is ridiculous, maybe give him the Rick Rude-esque pants! There's definitely more they can do with the dashing gimmick to make it more effective.

His grooming tips was the best thing on Smackdown for a few months tbh.

I agree big time with this. There are too many matches featuring Generic Guy A wrestling Generic Guy B where both wear dark tights and perform largely the same moves. A slight alteration to the Dashing gimmick would be good, but nothing too dramatic. If they can come up with a PG version of Patrick Bateman from American Psycho (i.e kick ass psycho who is obsessed with personal grooming), they would be onto a winner.

Before anybody mentions it, I am aware of the many different interpretations of American Psycho. I have asked Bret Easton Ellis in person about some of them!

Add in monologues on 80s bands and I'm sold....
