Not sure if this is the right place to ask and it may have been asked already, but does anyone know why petrol has .9 after it. eg €1.49.9, itsnearly always .9 except for yesterday i seen 2 petrol stations near each other and one was .9 and the other was .8.

1.49.9 looks better than 1.50!

same as everything , for example 149.9 looks cheaper than 150 ! where you see petrol for 149.9 139.9 up my way
