The spiteful little b*llox. I saw his weepy little butter-wouldn't-melt face after he got the boot from the electorate. He got described by RTE commentator/interviewer as one of the "good guys".

Good guy? No such thing in Fianna Failure.

Why are FF trying to get this sewn up neat and tidy before they leave? Something to hide maybe?

I wonder what other stories of Fianna Failure's last minute shenanigans will be leaking out over the next few days.

Presumably the incoming administration will be picking up the blame for this "deal", as the Greens did for Dick Roche's last minute sign-off on Tara...

    snidely,
    Scofflaw

Sneaky or just necessary? I'd say the latter like Tara/M3 nonsense.

I would have thought FG and Labour would be well capable of dealing with this, it was going to be signed in a week or so. Why was Pat in such a rush? it is going to take a couple of years to complete according to locals. This just plays into the hands of those who have an Axe to grind, Fahy done something along the same line before he left his Ministry and it is constantly thrown up.

    could have been an "incentive"

Ignoring idiots who comment "far right" because they don't even know what it means

How could the new gov have agreed with a deal that gives away our resource with nothing in it for us.

They got it signed so they could start with a clean slate...and all outgoing leaders make such gestures, perhaps they have too.

Classic Its all timed well for the fields off the kerry coast also...plenty for the imf and their mates to feed off.

Tonight watching prime time, that old nervous feeling returned. listening to honahan was frustrating to say the least and as he was in the mood to say NOTHING so everyone else thought theyd do the same...Thanks rte for the trash tv.

    Mind yerselves people
