New Focus, fuel gauge not working

Title pretty much sums it up. Bought a new Focus about 4-5 weeks ago, and the full gauge shows empty unless the car has warmed up. As in, I need to actually turn the car off, and turn the car back on again when its warm to get the gauge to rise at all.

I noticed it was 3/4 when I was sure i filled it up at the weekend, the next day anyway, it is showing empty from a cold start.

Anybody know if its a quick thing to fix? Going to ring up the dealer tomorrow and find out what the story is. At least the trip computer tells me how much is left, but at the same time, after buying a new car, and to have a basic function not working is pretty frustrating.

    Not your problem :)
Just bring it back and they'll sort it.

    I wish :(

Definitely bringing it back to them but I don't want to worry about how big a job it might be in the meantime.
