Removing paint overspray/mist on my car

Hey guys, just looking for a bit of advice here.

Have a second hand car that I got in October and there's little specks of paint on it, as if someone was spraying another car nearby. No idea how long they've been there, it could be 4 months or it could be 4 years, not a clue! Basically just wondering is there any product that can remove this or is it there too long at this stage? Not that big of a deal, but I'd like to remove it if I could. Thanks for any help/info!

First, and least damaging option is a clay bar. You'll get a Meguiars Clay Bar kit from Halfords. It'll remove a lot of overspray, surgace contaminants.

Failing that, it'll be out with the cutting compound, and unless you have a machine polisher and experience, plenty of elbow grease!
