I have had about 7 lessons & bought a car & am trying to practice when I can get my bf to bring me out. Getting there very slowly.. I am thinking of applying for my test (currently says there's a 13 week wait in Galway).. If I am not ready to do the test by then can I cancel & reschedule & would it take another 3 weeks etc?? Sorry I have no idea but I am guessing if I apply it will spur me on to practice more... Decisions, decisions!!

when you get your confirmation letter
ring them and tell them you're starting a new job in 2 weeks and NEED a full license for it they will give you the next available date

i done it twice (failed the first one) and both times i called on a thursday and done the test on the monday

    Short answer: Yes.
How long for the new date can vary. You can ask to go on a short list at that time, which would be about two weeks. Otherwise it could be bottom of the list again.

Exactly, when you book the test through the rsa website, there is a checkbox you can select stating that you would take a cancellation. I booked my test start of the month and did it on the 24th thanks to a cancellation.
