Signing On

    Can anyone give me advice. Im meant to sign on next Tuesday for the dole but i already had plans to go away with the girlfriend for her birthday for 3 nights. So il be going away Monday to Thursday and wont be able to sign on. Will i go down this week and explain it to them and are thay usually grand on the matter. Iv never missed signing on before so not sure what to do.

    Sigh. They might be okay with it but you sohuld have let them know ASAP. You get to take a total of 13 days off every year. But it's usually for holidays. Just try to explain and hopefully it'll be okay.

    Go to the sw office and tell them you will be away and they should excuse you signing. You will more than likely have to fill out a holiday form for the 3 days letting you with 9 days holidays for 2010.

    Should be ok once you go in before tuesday and tell them.

    Just have it booked from ages ago only realised today im signing on that week. Ye il call down to them tomorrow hopefully it will be no hassle.

    When is the Late Sign-On date in your SW office? It might be Friday? My Sign-On day is a Wednesday and the Late Sign-On day is the following Monday. Maybe call them to find out.
