Hi folks i'm new to cycling and looking to get a bike under the cycle to work scheme.

however i have 0 ideas about what i need to look out for in terms of a bike. I would like to use the bike for improving my fitness so it would mainly be a road bike rather than a mountain bike.

any tips or good sites i should use?

Try your local friendly bike shop, you can see what's available, and even take a bike for a test spin...
