does Ireland have an Access to Neighbouring land act?

    is there an Access to Neighbouring Land Act in Ireland like the Access to Neighbouring Land Act 1992 in the UK? I am looking to get a wall build out my back but all the builders said they would need access to my neighbours side entrance, now this may not be a problem but it would be good to know if things didnt work out that there would be a legal fall back, thanks.
