Hi I am re-doing my kitchen & I am looking for some nice colourful tiles. Have gone to a couple of tile stores like right price tiles and have been left uninspired. Does anyone have a good recommendation?
    Thank you!

Glass tiles are a good choice if you want vibrant colour, a full glass splashback would give you colour without the grout and looks great!

Try a place called Vitra Tiles in Santry, great selection, not the same beiges and creams that everywhere else seems to have. Some of their stuff is a bit pricey, but good deals to be had.

Tilestyle have a huge range. They're pricey but twice a year they have a 50% off - we were lucky and the sale was on when we were buying all our tiles. It's worth a look anyway, even for inspiration. They have great displays.

    Where abouts are you?

Irwins tiles in Castleblayney in Monaghan are brilliant, they have everything and are half the price of the likes of tilestyle.

We just got our bathroom redone in marble and the tiles were only €25.99 per sq yard -which is unbelievably cheap for marble.

I've heard of people travelling from Cork to get tiles as they save thousands doing a house!

Yeah they have a 50% sale alright - i traveled up from Cork last year to it to find that they were still double the price of anything you could buy down South in Cork !! Tiles on display for €80 down to €40 a sqr yard - that you could buy down in Cork for €20 !!! - i got back into my car as fast as i could and off home .
