    hi all
i was out this eve and got a couple of rabbits, now the thing is i noticed a couple of hard spots in the rabbits fur. i took a closer look and what looked to me like a hole that had a scabb around it. the skin was really hard in that area. needless to say it was left for the foxes! i noticed the same thing on a rabbit i got on another permission a few nights ago. any ideas as to what this is? sorry no pics:rolleyes:

Could be mixy. They certainly develop open sores and bad scabbing with that.

could of been old tick love bites from the autumn
    but not worth the chance
i wouldnt no myself as rabit shooting is very scarce the last few years around my way
also they have been underground most of the winter could be war wounds from other rabbits
