Can I just ask how the f*ck are women considered better drivers than men exactly?

I know quite a few women drivers (cousins and friends ect...) and I was just thinking that everyone of them has said fairly serious crashes, Plus I have been in my gf car and she just frightens me anytime i'm in that passenger seat:eek::eek: I had this debate in work today and some women had their theorys and some of the men had others

So m not trying to start a row here, I am seriously asking how are womens insurance much cheaper than mens? and why are they considered better drivers?

I would imagine that the insurance companies probably have some reasonable statistical grounding for their premiums. Doubt it's just based on a hunch.

The idea is that young males speed and as the rsa put it "the bigger the speed, the bigger the mess" whereas women tend to have little "cute" crashes, with less damage and lower costs.

Still though, my missus and I are the same age, but she had a crash which she claimed for. Her insurance is half the price of mine.
