    Hi All,

Am contemplating heading to Alvor the last week in May for a nice relaxing holiday. Have heard excellent things about the food, nightlife etc in Alvor. Just wondering does anyone on here know do they have many watersports in the area. Would be interested in doing some windsurfing if it was available?

    Thanks

    Hey,

I head down to Alvor every summer! its a great spot. If you are looking for watersports, Kite surfing is really popular down that way, as is surfing.

When you're down there hit up a restaurant called L'Angolos, its a tiny family run italian place and serves the best lasagna known to man.

Id also recommend chartering a boat for a day, a few of us headed out on one and they took is into all the caves along the cost, they also threw in a few beers and some sangria aswell, its an afternoon well spent!
