I hope they fcuk off now for good and disband. They did some serious damage to this economy with their hair brained schemes and taxes, they cost us a fortune. Good riddance I say............

I'm not sure why, but row after row of pictures saying "Eliminated" makes it look like an assassin's case report or something :pac:

I agreed with some of their policies but other things such as taxing broadband are just bat**** insane.

I on the other hand agreed with none of their policies, & feel things such as taxing broadband are not only insane, but downright idiotic. Going from an oil based worldwide economy, society & civilisation in not only ten years, but during the middle of a worldwide recession? Absolute clowns, absolute total clowns.

In that timeframe, yes. But moving away from an oil based economy is a necessity. Whats happening in the middle east is going to be very bad news for us.

Agreed, but it cannot seriously happen in ten years, much less 50 years. Cars, petrol, diesel, airliner travel, ships, trucks, & heating to name but a few of the necessities. All gone in ten years?

Aside from the timespan though, & more importantly, it's going to cost an absoloute astronomical amount of money to change from an oil based economy (civilisation more like) to something else. It isn't going to happen for a long, long time. Oil companies are worth far too much to simply pack up shop. Ten years? They really are (or were thankfully) deluded.

The money required to produce clean enegry e.g. solar enegry is getting cheaper every year though. Also the technology is almost advancing exponentially. Ten years is too soon, but it will be a lot faster than 50.

Try and fly to the Bahamas on solar energy.

Solar energy is an ok contributer, but it can in no way supliment coal/gas/nuclear power generation. In Ireland especially, we'd need hundreds & hundreds of miles of them seeing as we've no nuclear option.

They can cheer up a bit, there's lots of good jobs around town out there for enthusiastic bicycle couriers.
