NCT Failure - Steering Linkage (Inner Tie Rod End)

Hi. I have a CRV 2007 and took it for its first NCT today. Failed due to worn steering linkage (inner tie rod end) for both front wheels. Can I ask if this is something that typically gives these types of car's trouble and what should I expect to pay in a garage to get these fixed.

    Thanks.

Given the state of our roads its not unusual for inner tie rods to have wear. They are not expensive to have replaced, less then €200 for both including alignment if the parts are available spurious.
