    what is the cheapest way to make one? what is the best material to use and size?

    Blue barrel cut in half fited with a timber front,door cut out on that.Holes drilled to leave condensation escape.Filled with either straw or shreded paper.Very warm,very comfy totally waterproof.

    just go to a saw mill and buy 2x2 for frame work and some shiplap for the walls nailed on and a bit of felt on roof or a few slates if you have any around

    do i good job cheap enough
