I'm due to get my fiesta booked in for its annual serivce soon and think wheel bearings need doing too, but not sure if i need to get timiing belt done or not.

It 01 fiesta, first reg dec 01, so approaching 10yrs but on 31k miles on the clock so should i get the timing belt done due to its age even though miles wise it should be ok? Also how much should replacing one cost ish?

    thanks for any advice

Yip, if you are not sure when it was done, get it done. At 10 years old and presuming the belt is the original in the car, then it could be wearing done from age rather than milage.

It depends on what engine is fitted to your fiesta. The 1.25 zetec is due to be changed every 10 years/100k miles so would be due for a change.

If you have the 1.3 engine it has no belt.
