I haven't seen any of these recently as I use Adblock and am not sure what software it is. Most of the time these are misleading software saying you have dozen ofs problems with your PC etc...and should upgrade to a paid version. Just never click on banner ads full stop ;)

This is one of the only GOOD reg cleaners out there!

    REGSEEKER!! -- www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm

Click "Clean the registry" and tick all the boxs and after the scan,ALL THE GREEN ENTRIES CAN BE REMOVED...... (The Red ones may be needed (regseeker marks those as red (Ones it cant tell for sure)))

First time i ran this it removed over 800 keys!! (I gave it a home straight away!!)

    Good luck!

I use CCleaner and it has a section for checking reg problems. http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download

ccleaner would get my vote as well. Just be careful though as editing the registry can have disastrous results if it goes wrong.
