right lads. Had an old 3pay sim laying around, no credit on it but I might use it as a spare phone/second phone. Only problem is I dont have any credit to find out what the phone number is. Anyone know of a way to check?

if its old it may not be in use - numbers are recycled if they are not continually used.

nah its active. Thankfully. Rang CS at 8 when they opened and they gave me the number. Problem solved.
