Dating sites - what do you honestly think?

    Probably been done before. Havent seen a thread about in the after hours tho ... So Dating sites and even other varients (aka certain social networking sites like tagged, netlog etc which are dating sites too *note not facebook :P when I say social networking)

    So honestly what do you think about them?
    There seems to be two clear seperate opinions. But seems to be influences by gender :P
    For example, dare I be blunt and say (:P) if any half decent looking girl was to sign up she would be bombarded by blokes mailing her. Lets be honest. majority looking for sex. So alot of the time you get women saying '.. oh XXX site is brilliant. yeah sure you get weirdos but its awesome" etc etc ...

    but if you're a guy, all you get is mailing women who either will not reply to you or do so a few times then stop. That as a male user you are just another bloke in an total one sided gender ratio (what 10 guys to 1 girl?) .. not to mention certain women get stuck up because of all the attention they get. Which ... lets face it. Majority is just some guy trying to get his hole :P
