360 - No sound - Black screen ??

    my son told me today that his Halo edition Xbox360 was not working.
    Had a look at it,
    Boots fie..all green lights.. Black screen on TV and no sound.. Disc spins up fine etc.
    He also has a new black console ( latest model ) I changed around the Cables etc.. No change..
    He then told me the last time he played it that the pic froze a few times and turned funny colors etc before he turned it off and left it.. He was playing test drive 2..

    Cant really send it back to M$ as the dirve is shall we say "Non Standard" :D

    Ant ideas as to what i could try?

    Xclamp maybe?
