I only upgraded last week and it is def running my games slower...they are online based.
Anyone else notice if theirs has slowed down...I suppose I can't even roll back the firmware, it's my GF's too and she has lots of stuff on it.

Online based games? Is most likely your internet connection.

A mate of mine recently said that his iPad was very sluggish. I asked if he'd updated and he said he had. The problem turned out to be that he hadn't realised that all the apps he'd started were still running !! Double clicking the HOME button revealed about 25 apps still running and taking up resources !! Shutting them down restored harmony :)

    Double tap the Home Button

Hold each until it "wiggles" and click the Red X

The most that will happen to applications you think are still running is that their state will be stored. After a period of time, unless there is a GPS signal running (you'll see the arrow in the title bar), it's playing music or there is a specific, limited task running, all applications perceived to be running in the background, are in fact, not running at all. They might as well be closed.

However, it would be interesting to see if removing applications from the multitasking bar has improved performance?

I know of a few people who had similar issues after updating iPhones.
Fixed by restoring as a new phone and then resynched to put everything back on rather than restore from a backup.

I know yours is an ipad but it sounds like the same thing to me...

Ironclaw I use other devices such as I-touch and a pair of I-phones and they are running fine, I'm hooked on these RPG games and I know exactly how slower their running now!

    turnsoutIwas...I don't understand the resynced comment? I'm not a tech head. :o
