    Hi,
I regularly use my home pc to draft written documents and print them off. Unfortunately, my pc does not have microsoft word. It has other software called open office which i have found great and never had any problems with, until now! :o
When i send such documents as attachments to others, they are unable to open them so it looks like i have no choice but to use microsoft word.
I downloaded the free trial with no problems but i am now being asked for a product key. Does anyone have any idea what this is? I'm really grateful for any responses. Thanks. :)

Depending on what format you wan't to send, you have to save it in the equivalent MS fomat. For example, When you are saving the document in open office make sure you save it as "Micosoft word 97/2000/XP (.Doc)" for it to be opened by other people using Microsoft word.

Did you try your email for the product key. Where did you get the trial from?
