Laptop Repair

    Can someone recommend a place I could get a Laptop repaired in Glaway city? I'm not sure what exactly the problem is but it wont power up.

    Mmmm,

    after reading the thread from the link gaillimhabu posted I'll withdraw my post. I've never had a bad experience with those guys, they seemed very on the level with me but just incase.. I'd still go to them myself though.

    Little place in Edward Square called qinktek,I might have spelling wrong. Helpful Chinese chap, opposite where the mocha beans used to be. I've brought 2 laptops to him and he was great both times and reasonable cost too. I'll pm you his number later if you want?

    Have a look here before handing it in anywhere

    Does it power up at all, even for a little while before bombing out. If it does it could be the motherboard?

    Maybe ask on Tech->Computers and Technology->Laptops

    Please post Make model specs and how old it is and if lights come on when power button is pressed or if the light for the battery charging comes on when power supply plugged in.

    This would help with telling you if it is worth repairing.
