My old second hand bathroom is so outdated and I want to give it a new lease of life. Firstly the suite has got to go from peach to a nice white. There are a few things I am not sure of though weather to get a vanity unit under the wash hand basin or just have a free standing basin/pedistial I rem back in the 80's seeing loads of vanity units under whb's and I thought they were outdated but now I see a lot of them in brochures and on the web. Its a long narrow bathroom so tbh I need all the space I can get as bathroom shampoo bottles and clutter drive me mad especially when on show.

Where is the best place to buy bathrooms and get them installed as well?

Also how much would I be looking at approx for a bath, toilet, fittings and whb would love to get rid of ugly tiles too so if I could get the whole lot done in one go would be great the tiles are not worn just a bit dated.

You dont say where you live to give rec's but i imagine a rec is not allowed.

Your questions are very open and you really need to visit showrooms to get ideas.

For example. Good quality porc is about 19 euro a square yard sealed. The adverage bathroom has 26 yards so your looking at 494 for tiles.

A 4 pc suite with taps comes in around 300 euro for bottom line 600 euro for mid line or 1000 for upper.

    A bath....is about 300-600 euro

Vanity units are great especially for storage most places are doing white for about 160

A lot of places do supply and fit. I think these are a great idea because you are dealing with the shop for the whole lot...

for a basic swop situation you would be talking from €2300 up for a total makeover.
