    Hey,
Really hope someone here can help me.
I have a Lenovo G550 laptop, whenever I am typing the mouse seems to jump all over the place, which means if i'm not looking at the screen the whole time I suddenly realise that what i've written makes no sense and is all messed up. Very Frustrating!!!

Does anyone know of any way to stop this happening?

    Thanks

Your palm is probably hitting off the trackpad. You can get software to disable the track pad when your typing which should stop this from happening.

Yep, and there might be some option to adjust this in the control panel, under the "hardware and sounds section"

You might be pressing keys for shortcuts that could be causing your problem. Like FN and some other key on your keyboard. Check out your control panel settings for your mouse and adjust it. Might be something as simple as what Zonda mentioned.
