Any of you folks receiving the election feeds from the RTE remote units? I've tried the usual candidates on 27.5W without success. I'm in the process of scanning other sats at the moment. Thanks!

    See http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056192079

But they seem to be using some lower quality internet links also.

Intelsat 903 34.5 West, there is a thread over on the Satellite forum. Also 37.5 West.

Thanks folks. I never even thought to look at the general satellite forum - used to be a time that was for the Astra stuff only and this was the home of the feed hunters;)
Was watching satelliweb yesterday in case anything popped up - off to 34.5W now!

A number of the signals from 34.5W are poor with me - quality 60-70% and breaking up occasionally. I've a 1.1m dish and have tweaked the position with Diseq, but can't get any better. Anyone else finding this?

Yes same for me. Much better signals on 27 West now.

My local count (Wicklow) is on 34.5, but is fine - 95% quality. Maybe some of the other SMUs are not aligned to the satellite 100% - can't quite stretch to a bigger dish!

Feeds are usually designed for large dish to save power & thus money.

There should be some feed activity for the Presedential election counts.

Nothing from the usual suspects on 37.5w
