Does this protein stuff really work? Would love to build myself up.

protein is only a supplement.weight lifting, and proper nutrition makes you big.Protein powder is only to get fast digestible protein after training session and to compensate your daily protein needs that you didn't get from food

Protein powder is just used for times when you dont have access to solid food protein. For example after the gym, its little easier to have a protein shake in your bag than 4 eggs or a couple of chicken breats.

So to answer your question, a good diet and weights program works, just taking tub of protein wont do single thing for you unless you have these right,
Check out the health and fitness forum and read the stickies there.

That's a great deal. The chocolate one is really tasty.

When I was looking at Argos I found this.
    http://www.argos.ie/static/Product/partNumber/9251070/Trail/searchtext%3EPROTEIN.htm

1.5 kg of whey protein for €12.99. Very cheap! Has anyone used this before? I'm interested in this because it's dirt cheap but I'm having trouble finding the nutrition facts for this brand. Does anyone know about it?

I've no idea what the nutrition facts are but I don't think its going to matter as that protein seems to be out of stock in all of the stores and has been for the past few weeks
