    Hi

Im looking to buy a crewcab and have narrowed it down to 3, year about 2006/07 or so

    toyota hilux
    nissan navara
    isuzu rodeo demax

probably the most troublesome one here i think is the navara but a lovely machine to drive...probably the cheapest to buy is the isuzu
i would only be keeping for 1-2 years and would like it to hold its value well too when i go to see..

also was offered a 2007 ford ranger for €9500 all in, nice jeep but not very popular at all

Hilux if you can find the right one, great machine. Navaras have issues with clutch and conrods been spat out of the block, The Isuzu is slow as as a wet week.

    L200 not take your fancy?

hi, hard to get a good hilux... didnt think the new navara give that much engine trouble unlike the older one..they are great to drive..
also thought the demax 3l engine had plenty of power and the l200 were underpowered and seriously hard on diesel and give quite a bit of trouble too..

you don't seem to think much of the 07 ranger either???

the post 07 D-max 3 litre (168bhp) are a grand machine to drive, the older 138bhp 3 litre will be grand after a remap. the new ones are grand to drive, find it quite comfortable and Im getting 28-30mpg average (60% motorway 40% city) - automatic. If buying 2nd hand try find one with leather on it as the cloth seats arent great and look very tatty very quickly

the hilux has always been a solid machien and doesnt give many issues

if your buying a navara get the post 2006 one (d40 shape) and get an automatic , the flywheel / clutches in tha manuals are nothing but a bag of hurt
