Maxi dress-too early in season??

Hi, I was just wondering if it is too early in season to wear a maxi dress. Found one in my wardrobe I forgot to ever wear n was wondering about when do most people wear them? Presuming summertime maybe? It would be too soon to wear one yet?

It's not too early at all, I wore one last week. Team it with a cardigan, Summer dresses always look good
