I've been waiting for this time for so long for the last few weeks John Waters has been put behind a paywall on the IT 'epaper'

Im delighted he'll likely pollute the web less with his contrarian drivel.

Miriam Lord and other columnists have been put behind the paywall too, but who needs em I think Miriam Lord is good but chasing round after the little insider stories of politicians is its own form of sycophancy even if its usually critical.

You are probably the first to have noticed. Well if Miriam Oh Lord Not Again! has been put behind a pay-wall, things must be dire for the Irish Times.

I'd read John Waters' rants in print when on a train etc, but I don't think I have ever read them online.
