Adding another notch to the bed post shall we say and going for the coach license. Just wondering if anyone could answer these questions I have:
    • Am I required to undergo the 10 hours mandatory tuition or is that just for the B-license?
    • Is the CPC practical test separate from the driving test, or is it the actual driving test itself?
    • When I complete the CPC theory tests, do I still have to undergo the 1-day a year training or would the theory tests be considered a complete CPC?
I wouldn't be asking, but the RSA website is quite vague :(

    Cheers

No. The new mandatory rules only apply to Cars(B Licence) and Motorbikes(A Licence) But believe me you'll need at least 10 lessons to get the hang of things!

There is a CPC Driving test is the driving test, and you also have to do a CPC Practical Knowledge test after the Driving part. They will call this D - CPC Bus Test Part 1 and D - CPC Bus Test Part 2 on the application form.

Once you complete and pass your CPC Driving Test and CPC Practical Knowledge test you are covered for one year. You can apply and get your CPC card but you have to do your first moduale before the 1st anniversary of passing your CPC tests.

I passed my Truck CPC tests last year (April 7th) so I have to do my first moduale at the very latest 6th April.
    Understand?
