What sort of release does Biutiful have?

    No sign of it coming the Eye Cinema in Galway. They usually show any foreign/arthouse films that come to Ireland.

    They never got a copy of Another Year either. The 2 films I've been looking forward to most over the last 6 months.

    Aargh.

    it had a reasonably wide release in the UK, for what it's worth. That being said, i went to see Biutiful the other night and while it's worth watching it's like Babel in that Iñárritu really needs an editor when he's both writing and directing. Biutiful could stand to lose almost an hour of its 150-minute runtime; as it stands it's a potentially good film hampered by an over-indulgent and meandering narrative that runs out of steam at least half an hour before the film finally trundles to a halt.
