Hi Guys, Recently bought a head of a McConnell hedge cutter and have made it suit my quick hitch really happy with way it handle etc etc, Now thats the easy bit done!!! How do i rig my hydraulics to work it. Machine is hammer piped and I hear its quite simple to do. :D
I use my Hamer piping frequently so i need to keep that system workable as well. I'm not worried about being able to track and cut at one time just sit and use cutter within reach of arm.
I hope u can picture me standing in yard with my lovely shiny hedgecutter head on machine but with a strangely confused look on my face...Any help would be greatly appreciated. . .

    Confused Leitrim Bushman!

easy enough the 2 steel pipes 4 the hammer should be 1 feed 1 return and prob flat face fittings so if u get 2 hyd hoses made up with same ends on u can plug them straight into them its just a hyd motor your running

The pressures or flow rate may be too high for the cutter though

that may be true might have to fit restrictors(may overheat oil),u should find out the capisity of the motor and max flow it can take,u mite have to put a flow meter on it,
