    Can anyone recommend a good set of stage monitors for a reasonable price or better yet a good place to look for new/secondhand online

    Hi,
    You should have a look at the dynacord range. They do an excellent powered range monitors. I've use them when I was doing a lot of live work and found them great. They might be in the mid priced range but you'll get close to high-end if you can make the stretch. Also you'll should be able to pick second hand units up quick enough.

    +1 for Dynacord, they have a small set which are alot like the Clair Bros wedge design and they are great not sure of model number?!? but google should find um !
