I recently lost my beloved Macbook (coffee and laptops don't mix) and immediate thought was to replace it.

BUT! Now I am wondering should I consider rejoining the Windows world as I might get better value for money. A new Macbook (basic) is gonna cost me €999 but I would prefer to spend a bit less if possible (c. €750) but what to buy?

    Help!

Well what do you need? Also this is not the place to ask what laptop to buy just for future reference.
