Does anyone know how to get rid of the black tint sheet cleanly from the windows of my car? Got the most of it off but now the electric windows won't go down due to the sticky residue left behind! Any suggestions how to have it cleaned properly, please!

Ta-daaaa! Sticky-stuff-remover, does exactly what it says on the tin!

Isopropyl Alcohol may also work. That and brake/clutch cleaner will cover all your solvent needs :D

Window cleaner and a flat blade. Rub of nail varnish remover for persistant stuff.

White vinegar generously applied. Try to keep it off the door card etc as it has a smell, although it goes away.
Ha, I just realised that I recommend white vinegar for pretty much everything :D But hey, it's cheap, works and makes you want to go for chips...
