    Hey Folks,

I was on honeymoon in Italy in late 2009.

We pretty much travelled the length of the country, in which time I rented a car on several occasions.

While I was driving around Florence there were a couple of occasions where I pulled a few dodgy turns up one way street et cetera et cetera.

However since I got home I have been recieving fines for about €110.00 each, and I picked up EIGHT of them,…..every couple of months :(

So what do I do Folks…?????

I am getting kinda panicked, plus I really wanted to go back to Italy at some stage over the next few years :(

Will I be woken up at 5 in the morning by Berlosconi’s hench men?

But seriously, does anyone have a similar experience.

    Thanks in advance Folks.

And if you’re going over to Italy, drive safely.

(I wouldn’t mind but everyone else drove like complete lunatics, but they just must know the boundaries)

From what I understand of Italy and its fines the entire country is corrupt and if you know someone down there who can erase the fines then you would be an idiot not to because that is what everyone else down there does.

Can you call someone down there and say you were ignorant and you are just about to have a baby and you dont have a thousand euro?

Maybe try asking the folks in the Motors Forum. I'm sure you'd get a straight response from someone who has been in a similar situation.
